Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with several respected law firms throughout San Diego County that are actively hiring Litigation Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, and Practice Specialists. Our clients range from boutique firms to nationally recognized organizations across Labor & Employment, Business Litigation, Family Law, Insurance Defense, Intellectual Property, and General Civil Litigation.

Compensation: $35/hour to $115,000+ annually, depending on experience and opportunity

Location: San Diego County

Schedule: Onsite and hybrid opportunities available

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing and filing pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and court documents.
  • Managing attorney calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
  • Supporting attorneys throughout the lifecycle of litigation matters.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Practice Specialist, Attorney Practice Assistant, or similar professional.
  • Experience with state and federal court procedures, calendaring, and filing requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation terminology and processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
